Falschaussage der Damen an der Rezeption!Rechnung fällt am Ende höher aus.Die Rechnung bekommt mañ aber erst bei Abfahrt wenn überhaupt.Das Wasser am Strand ist voller dicker Steine kann man mit Kindern nicht rein gehen!An gemütlichen Rad fahren ist nicht zu denken.Nur viel befahrene Schnellstrassen.Die WC Häuschen waren immer super sauber.

Schöner Platz, aber fehlerhafte Absprachen und intransparente Abrechnung,sind nicht die Ausnahme!!!
Der Campingplatz an sich ist schön, aber der Service bei der Abrechnung ließ stark zu wünschen übrig. Nach einem Platzwechsel wurde uns an der Rezeption ausdrücklich zugesichert, dass der 15% ADAC-Rabatt auch für den neuen Stellplatz gilt. Nach der Abreise stellte sich per E-Mail heraus: Das stimmte nicht. Das Management teilte uns mit, dass diese Platzkategorie vom Rabatt ausgeschlossen sei – hier wurden wir vor Ort schlicht falsch informiert. Zudem wurde uns ungefragt eine "Downgrade-Gebühr" berechnet. Schade, dass mündliche Zusagen der Mitarbeiter im Nachhinein nichts wert sind. Kommunikation und Abrechnungstransparenz sind hier mangelhaft.Wir waren übrigens nicht die einzigen die sich darüber beschwert haben.Fehlbunungen sind dort Tagesprogram..

Regarding your comment, we would like to kindly clarify that your reservation was originally made in a specific category and, after a change to a lower category by personal choice, the booking conditions state that the original rate is maintained. For this reason, the corresponding downgrade fee was applied.

Wir waren jetzt zum 3.Mal hier und leider sieht es so aus als ob das Wohlbefinden der Gäste doch nicht so an erster Stelle steht.
Grundsätzlich… der Platz ist toll gelegen mit langem breiten Sandstrand. Die Anlage ist weitläufig und bietet alles was man sich wünschen kann, angefangen mit mehreren Restaurants, Bars, Pool, Sportanlagen, etc. Das Personal ist nett und freundlich.
Das war‘s dann aber auch schon.
Wir hatten uns bereits letztes Jahr für 4 Wochen eingebucht und uns einen bestimmten Platz reserviert. Bei Ankunft war der Platz dann nicht für 4 Wochen verfügbar, sondern nur für 2 Wochen. Mußten dann 2 Tage stehen und konnten nach mehreren Versuchen dann einen Platz ergattern auf dem wir wenigstens 3 Wochen bleiben konnten. Danach hätten wir wieder umziehen müssen. Und wir waren da nicht die einzigen denen es so erging.
Andere Camper hatten ähnliche Probleme.

Wir waren in der Vorsaison hier, was aber nicht heißt dass man es ruhig hat.
Hier fehlt ganz klar eine Aufteilung der Platzbereiche für mit und ohne Hunde. Wenn man Pech hat gibt‘s den ganzen Tag Hundegebell.
Ebenfalls negativ… der Poolbereich für die Gäste wird regelmäßig von lokalen Schulklassen bevölkert. Den Krach hält keiner aus. Eine Zumutung für zahlende Gäste.
Das gleiche am Strandbereich des Campings, allerdings vermute ich dass der Strand öffentlich ist, da muss man dann halt mit leben.

Fazit: Wir sind anstatt 4 Wochen nur 3 Wochen geblieben. Klar, wir waren vorher schon mal hier, aber so schlimm wie dieses Jahr haben wir es noch nicht erlebt.
Das Management hier hat die Platzvergabe definitiv nicht im Griff was für jede Menge Frust sogt. Der Lärm am Pool, am Strand und durch Hundegebell war zeitweise unzumutbar.
Es gibt viele schöne Campingplätze, die vielleicht nicht so ein Angebot haben wie hier, bei denen einiges aber bei Weitem besser geregelt ist, besonders wenn man den Preis bedenkt dem man hier zahlt. Angebot ist eben nicht alles.
Wir werden auch definitiv nicht wiederkommen.

Anmerkung ca. 1 Woche nach der ersten Rezension…
Waren heute morgen am Pool und wieder das gleiche Spiel. Irgendwann kamen die Schulklassen und dann war es nicht mehr auszuhalten. Ein Krach, einfach ätzend. Nachmittags dann noch mal zum Strand… war wohl nix… auch mindestens drei Schulklassen. Da kann man nur noch abhauen.

Beautifully landscaped holiday park, great for families. Immaculately clean across the board. All staff pleasant and helpful. Spa is lovely and reasonably priced. Pool has loads of loungers and splash area for kids. Loads of sports facilities. Beach is yards away and is gorgeous. Altafulla is a nice 30 minute walk through a nice wooded riverside walk. It's big, a bit like centerparcs, wasn't quite for us as we weren't travelling with kids. Good mix of accommodation choices and the chalets and tents looked really modern and smart. Touring area for motorhomes is plentiful, good pitches, some with personal bathrooms and kitchens. It's a bit pricey if you're not going to use all the facilities but it's nice to have the choice (bar, restaurants, takeaways, animation, sports etc). If you're in a motorhome avoid the large pine trees .. pigeon poop central! Acsi pitches are limited (and standard only).

Muy bonito y bien ubicado (a pesar de que el camping bloquea gran parte del acceso a la playa para los que nos se hospedan allí).

Pasamos una buena estancia pero nos vamos MUY DECEPCIONADOS porque:

1) Alquilamos un glamping Iris del 15 al 17 de mayo de dos habitaciones con calefacción y no pudimos utilizar la habitación principal doble porque no tiene calefacción y estaba a 16°.
Como uno puede apreciar en las fotos adjuntas a pesar poner el aire condicionado del glamping a 24°C toda la noche, la habitación de abajo seguía a 16°C a las 9h de la mañana.

2) Cuando nos fuimos a las 12h, pensando quedarnos un poco más para disfrutar de las instalaciones, solamente se nos ofreció un parking de 3€ la hora. Estamos en mayo y muchas playas como Altafulla siguen ofreciendo parking gratis.
