Precioso pueblo de Murcia, con buenas playas. El carnaval es simplemente espectacular. Cabo Cope es una reserva natural, con muchas calas donde puedes estar tranquilo.

Eine tolle Stadt in der der Überwiegend Teil der Bevölkerung Einheimische Einwohner sind. Dadurch ist das Leben hier sehr einfach. Es gibt alle Geschäfte und Firmen die man zum Leben braucht. Auch Touristen kommen auf ihre Kosten.
Es gibt viele tolle Bars und Restaurants, Kino,Museen und natürlich auch Handwerksbetriebe. Wir sind das vierte Mal hier und immer wieder begeistert. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wiederkommen.

No he visto pueblo más feo en mi vida, casas viejas cuadradas con azoteas y ropa tendida.
Cuando subes al castillo ves todo el pueblo y es igual de feo viejo y mal cuidado.
Si quieres subir a visitar el castillo no vayas con mascotas por qué no te dejan entrar.
No recomiendo parar aquí a nadie.

For me, Águilas was a completely unexpected find—one of those places you stumble upon by chance and end up falling in love with. I initially chose it to spend two winter months and, looking back, I can confidently say that Águilas turned out to be a true hidden gem. I’ll definitely be coming back, especially for its incredible off-season vibe.

With virtually no tourism, a stunningly large beach, and an authentic Spanish atmosphere, this place took me right back to my childhood—those 90s family vacations along the Spanish coast when everything felt more genuine, more relaxed. In Águilas, time seems to have stood still, but in the best way possible. The people are as warm and welcoming as ever, the town isn’t cluttered with generic tourist cafés, and everything feels refreshingly unhurried. It’s a place that allows you to slow down and just enjoy.

On top of that, the winter weather here has been absolutely fantastic—December, January, and February along this stretch of the coast have been nothing short of ideal. I’m already looking forward to my return.
