The camp site is open, you can book via the TenerifeOn app. There is space for about 10 tents. Located next to a recreation area with dozens of picnic tables, but not a single shelter in case of rain. Toilet building closes late afternoon which makes no sense. Noisy.

This could have been a very nice campingsite, but unfortunately it was not a good experience. We might have been unlucky, there was a shooting-camp down the road and hopefully it rarely happens. But I would check before going. It was nonstop shooting very loud from 9 in the morning to 18 in the evening. Even on sunday!

The trails for trekking are very nice, but for us it was too noisy to enjoy. There are roads alongside the treks for motorbikes, which we found weird if its supposed to be a protected area. With the shooting as well, it was not relaxing until we got to the top.

Also the toilets are only open 10-17, which is funny (why close the toilets?)
The camping in itself is nice, with a barbecue area and benches. Though gravel is difficult to pitch a tent on, it doesn't get muddy, but you need a good mat.

The campsite looks really nice and large, but as of February 2024 it is closed due to construction, probably because of the landslide. It's unfortunately not possible to sleep here. The whole place is enclosed with red and white tape.

You can here shooting all day from nearby firing range (I guess). After half an hour you go mental. Can’t enjoy the nature at all. Someone should do something about it. If I find that bloody shooting range I’m gonna slap them in the face!

Instalaciones completas con lugar para acampar en autocaravanas y tiendas. Para mi gusto hay demasiada vegetación, lo que provoca mucha humedad y falta de entrada de luz y sol. Pero al ser cara norte y otoño-invierno tiene un perdón. Finalmente no acampe por este último motivo.

Faltó que en las horas que se supone que la área recreativa está abierta, lo estuviera. Por todo lo demás recomendamos no llegar de noche, pues es un poco difícil encontrar la zona correcta. (Donde el parking en las escaleras del final para arriba)

En Ravelo. Bosque de laurisilva. Entorno precioso, con muchos pateos para hacer. También está al lado del camino a Candelaria, para los más aventureros.

Un poco molesto que está cerca del campo de tiro y se escuchan los disparos todo el tiempo.

Por otro lado que no puedes llevar el coche hasta el mismo sitio donde acampas y tienes que cargar todo. En cualquier caso es poca distancia pero con una buena pendiente.

Vale la pena en cualquier caso.

Los guardias de esta zona super profesionales y amables.

Beautiful place to camp. The area is attached to a recreation area which people use to grill meat and picnic, so not really wild. There is also a firing range nearby, which is audible. The people and the noise go away at night, though.

Nice place; not too far away from villages but already close to the woods and the long-distance trail 131. Unfortunately it is a bit noisy, as there is some kind of firing range nearby during daytime and during the night time dogs are barking.

Not that I couldn’t have expected that from the descriptions before arriving, but anyway the campground is really barebones. There are only toilets with cold water in the adjacent rest place with barbecue spots and a lot of tables and benches.
