Mark & Fatima made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our 2 dogs Max & Fizz were welcomed by Barney and they too enjoyed the site. This is a great place to enjoy, small but perfect. Don't be put off by the road down to the site if our 9m, 5 ton motorhome can do it then anyone can.

We stayed at Los Chozones for 7 days. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed like friends. Mark and Fatima are so friendly and helpful and instantly made us feel at home. The pitch we had was perfect and very peaceful. Los Chozones is in a rural position so car hire or trips by Mark in my opinion are essential. We hired a car from a company Mark recommended in Malaga which was very good in price and quality of car. Mark drove us to both pick up and return the car for a small fee which was perfect. Fatima cooked a Moroccan meal for a group of 7 of us that were camped there. The meal was amazing. Mark goes out of his way to make sure you are at ease and totally enjoying yourself. I can not recommend Los Chozones enough. It is peace and tranquility in the countryside with all the amenities you need together with 2 perfect hosts. Thank you so much Mark and Fatima you are amazing people who made our 7 day stay so special.

We stayed at Los Chozones and had such a lovely time! The setting is peaceful and scenic, with beautiful gardens and a great pool area with sun loungers and shaded daybeds. Everything is spotless and so well cared for.||Our accommodation was the separate wing of the house with two air-conditioned bedrooms and a pretty little courtyard, perfect for relaxing. There are also lovely motorhome areas, a glamping pod, and spaces for camping, all thoughtfully designed and well equipped.||Mark and Fatima were amazing hosts who made our stay feel really personal with their warmth and attention to detail.||A truly beautiful and tranquil place to unwind. Highly recommend!

Peaceful, relaxing, safe . Just left after a week staying in a motorhome pitch. This was the only place we pre booked on our 8 week trip, and so glad we did. Originally booked for 2 nights, but stayed for 7. Hosts, Mark & Fatima are the most welcoming and friendliest you are likely to find. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they go the extra mike to make your stay a memorable one. We left feeling part of the family. Lovely gardens, outstanding views , great pool with amazing comfy beds and seating areas. Good, clean facilities, including washing up area, toilet and hot shower. Would definitely go back and recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

We had a truly wonderful stay here and could not fault anything. The rooms were well equipped, spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds. Fatima's food is just incredible, we ate well. The perfect place to simply relax by the pool all day, or as a base to explore the region. Mark was so helpful with transport and local knowledge, nothing seemed too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Stayed for a few days with family in the 2 rooms. Beds were so comfortable. Rooms perfectly equipped. Beautiful place, quiet, relaxing. Our hosts, Mark and Fatima were amazing and extremely welcoming. Fatima's cooking was out of this world. If you want to get away from it all this is the place.

This place is pure paradise. Stayed here with family for bed and breakfast. The rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean. Comfy beds. Slept really well and was able to totally chill out. Fatima and Mark our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Fatima is a fabulous cook and she cooked a special Morrocan meal one evening which was out of this world.
We met some lovely people on the campsite. Barney the dog would greet us every morning and hang out with us at times during our stay. The pool area was very special with plenty of places to chill out and the view across the countryside was beautiful. I would certainly recommend going to this lovely gem of a place and will definitely be back

We had such a lovely stay here! The place is very welcoming, and everything we needed was available for our camper van (4 people ). The swimming pool was also a great bonus—perfect for relaxing.

Mark and Fathima are wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful. We had booked our tickets online for Caminito del Rey before arriving, which turned out not to be the best idea. Mark explained that he could have helped us with both the tickets and the ride at a better price if we told him ahead of time .
In the end, he still arranged a ride for us for a very fair amount, which was a huge help.

Overall, their kindness and hospitality made our trip much easier and more enjoyable. If you’re planning to stay here, definitely speak with Mark about visiting Ronda or Caminito del Rey—he might be able to help you with a good deal and some great local tips!

Super kind hosts, highly recommended!

Stayed in one of the garden rooms - Serena. It was very clean and comfortable with aircon and the en-suit bathroom has a good shower with hot water. Bathrobes, towels, coffee machine and tv were all great touches too. Mark and Fatima were lovely hosts and the setting with the pool abs gardens was lovey. I would highly recommend.

Los Chozones is a unique type of camping experience . It combines luxury with peaceful tranquility .|Mark and Fatima were the most amazing hosts who catered for our every need and more . We were able to partake in the evening of Moroccon food which consisted of a fantastic tagine; special starters and the most amazing home made orange cake !- delicious !|Our friends from the UK came out to enjoy a few days with us and stayed in the rooms in the villa which were perfect in every way !|There was a great atmosphere on the site| With all of us doing the Ronda and wine tasting trip which Mark and Fatima organised for us . We were also taken to a brilliant Salsa night with them just down in Coín which was a fantastic night of good food and wine plus excellent company of other guests.|Absolutely a fantastic memory of our trip and we will be returning ! |Mark and Fatima should be very proud of what they have achieved here! |Thank you |Sue and Melvin

Los Chozones is a beautiful, calm oasis run by amazingly attentive owners.
We stayed for a long weekend, with several other people, to celebrate a friend's birthday. Our accommodation was the
"Glamping Tent / Yurt" whilst some friends occupied the 2 rooms in the Finca itself and another couple had a motorhome pitch.
It was quite hot during our visit (38°c+) and we definitely had the best accommodation on site for these conditions. Our glamping tent was blissfully cool from around opm to 9am every day. The duvet and heavy moroccan style bedspread were very welcome. Mark, the owner did supply an electric fan but the only time we used it was once when we were getting changed at lunchtime.
The tent itself is sited in a very private feeling Citrus grove and sheltered at the rear by Olive trees. It is pitched on a concrete pad so the floor is delightfully cool underfoot.
It is decorated in the Moroccan / North African style, with sumptuous soft furnishings in earthy tones.
There are reed mats and rugs on the floor, a comfortable double bed, and 2 single beds, so it would be fantastic for a small family.
There are electric sockets and a lamp inside the tent. Don't forget to pack a USB adapter though.
There is private seating and a small terracotta patio outside the tent itself, and its just a short walk to the blissfully cool pool.
The pool itself is sparkling clean and surrounded with plenty of loungers, seating areas and shady parasols. Take care when barefoot around the pool though as the terracotta tiles can get very hot.
The toilet and shower are kept nicely clean and there is a fridge and washing up area for the motorhomes too.
Mark & Fatima, the owners are wonderfully attentive hosts. They can provide breakfast and some delicious evening meals if needed. We had a Moroccan Tagine that was stunning!! They are knowledgeable local guides too. Mark even offered to give us lifts to the airport and surrounding areas.
It's about a half hours gentle walk into the local village (Villafranco Del Guadalhorce) where there are a couple of nice Cantinas selling very good, and reasonably priced, food and drinks.
All in all a brilliant stay, and we will definitely be returning.
Languages spoken are English, Spanish, Arabic, French & Turkish.
Access is relatively easy although the last road in is a bit steep and rutted, but hey, this is rural Spain. It's how it is.

La experiencia ha sido pésima, empiezo por contar todo:
-Lo primero de todo los dueños viven allí, cosa que en ningún lugar lo especifican siendo esto un dato muy importante a la hora de reservarlo.
-En booking donde realicé la reserva ponía en mayúsculas: BARBACOA, incluyendo una foto de esta y todo. Al pedir usarla nos dijo que no, que era de uso privado.
-Estuvimos en la piscina, con un jaleo asequible para ser las 21:00 h (horario verano) y nos pidió que bajáramos la música, y 1 hora más tarde (22:00 h) nos dijo que nos fuéramos de la zona la piscina ya que iban a dormir (en booking pone que prohibido hacer ruido a partir de las 23:00h)
-El aire acondicionado lo controlaba él, nos lo encendía y apagaba cuando el quería, incluso una noche estuvimos sin aire
-Finalmente el lugar está muy escondido y con difícil acceso (no llevan comida a domicilio ni nada, para que lo tengáis en cuenta)

All of our rooms were booked by someone called Angel.
We were led to believe it was four couples. 8 people. We do not allow events or parties.
Our rooms are advertised through booking com who have strict guidelines on advertising which is where it was booked.
In our policies it CLEARLY states no parties or events. It also states in host details that the property is shared.
We would have been within our rights to turn away the guests but we felt this would have been very unfair as the boys were very respectful.

On booking… states…

This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

It was a Spanish stag party from Cordoba who expected a villa for themselves. It was a poor choice on behalf of the 7 males, one arriving dressed as a woman. Immediately drinking and taking a loud speaker to the pool. Drinking in the pool too.

We would not have taken the booking (rooms) had we have known.
We have/had numerous guests (couples) enjoying the tranquility of our site which we continue to advertise and maintain.

At 2100 I asked that the noise be reduced… as the guest said, they were quite noisy but not switched off…as we were in danger of upsetting neighbours and guests.
The group took their music to their private area. The guests are correct, we specify 2300. We did not ask them to reduce the noise once they were in their private garden.

On arrival we stated that we wished the crowd to enjoy their stay. It was obvious to us they had made an error when choosing our site.
We provided an ice box for beers.
We put the air conditioning on for the whole period, however, we are not at liberty to run air conditioning when guests are out, and on Saturday the guests spent the day in Malaga, returned for showers then back to Malaga. We set the conditioners to come on at 0100. They returned at 0200. There was a local power cut on their first night, for everyone.

We were asked if there was a kitchen and we said no. This could well have been a break down with languages. Because it is only for private use.
We have a BBQ that anyone can use, as all our previous guests will say. No one asked about the bbq.
We allowed the guests to check out much later than in the booking conditions.

It is a completely unfair review. The rooms, gardens, pools etc are immaculate and we are very helpful.
We asked if everyone was comfortable and were told yes.

My wife offered Moroccan food which they declined and they went to McDonalds. We said we could provide breakfasts.. and they declined. We sent details of places walking distance away. The crowd said they would arrange food themselves.

Hopefully others will see this for what it is. A poor choice for this type of venue. I will be speaking to booking com.

A few more questions prior to booking and more communication would have helped.

We wish the gentleman good luck with his wedding.

Lovely stay at Los Chozones. Mark and Fatima are excellent hosts and Barney the dog provides lovely company! Wonderful views and the optional breakfast is well-presented and delicious. There is a lovely sized pool to cool off in. A fantastic destination to visit on a trip to Southern Spain! 🌟

Es un local atendido por su propio dueño el cual es un sr inglés super amable y divertido! Facilita todo lo que necesites para tu comodidad! El área en bellísima, limpia, amplio! Zona es retirada pero de facil accesos de la autovia!

De entrada decir que no es un camping.
Es un chalet B&B y en los jardines tiene sitio para aparcar, tiene un wc y una ducha pero para las personas que estábamos a sido suficiente, tiene piscina con camas Balinesas y barbacoa de gas, todo perfecto!!
Marc ha sido muy buen anfitrión

El trato por parte del anfitrion ha sido bueno, pero nuestra experiencia ha sido muy mala por estos motivos:
- El acceso es muy complicado los últimos 800 metros.
- Solamente hay 3 parcelas, y al estar ocupadas, nos hizo alojarnos en un terreno que no era una parcela, al lado de los baños y con un ruido de un motor insoportable.
- No hay ningun sitio para poder lavar los platos.
- Hay un único aseo para todos los huéspedes.

Lamentablemente no recomiendo ir a este sitio.

Thank you for your comments. At the time of your booking it was the Feria in Malaga.
I had already stated that we were busy. However we have 4 dedicated pitches for motorhomes. 3 for large. One for small. Your vehicle was a VW transporter.
All other pitches were full. Large vehicles, or caravan. When you arrived you were offered electric hookup (a clear sign it’s a dedicated pitch, it was also closer to the finca and benefits from wi-fi).
You declined EHU.
You asked about washing… as most of our visitors have sinks in their vans we don’t have a specific area but I offered the use of our kitchen in the finca.
When you returned in the early hours from the feria you said you could not sleep due to noise.
I find this incredible as I spoke to ALL the other guests. Some were just metres away (a young Spanish family) and no one heard or were disturbed. You said it was a generator. Quite simply, we don’t have any such thing.
Not one guest since we have been open as ever complained about noise. It is so tranquil here.
Your visit was as a family of 3 and for some unknown reason all 3 have decided to score us as 1* even though you commented the host was good. Normally one review would suffice!
You left before we could move you or investigate the issue (as one guest was leaving)
I will leave it for others to read all the reviews because they are mostly exceptional and from all nationalities.
It speaks volumes.
I am sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay, really.
It’s important though to speak to hosts and give them the opportunity to put things right or to make good the problem. In this case the noise problem was and still is a complete mystery!
As for the roads. We are very transparent. We are in the campo. We have drone footage of the area on our website. Small country roads in Spain can be bumpy. We did though have 3 large motorhomes, a small caravan, my car and our guests car here. None of them seemed to have an issue getting to or from the site, as long as it is driven with a little care.
Unfortunately we can not maintain the ayuntamientos roads.
If I’m honest I don’t think your review was fair, either accurate or a true reflection of the beautiful location and facilities we have to offer.
