Si vas con crios pequeños es un verdadero rollo que esté dividido por una carretera. El miniclub está a un lado de la carretera y la piscina al otro. Las parcelas tienen lavadero,lo que está muy bien,y ademas están a ras de tierra,no tienen bordillo que las delimite,lo que facilita el parking. Además,son espaciosas.
La ubicación es buena,pegando a la playa,y aunque no dispone de tienda,tienes una haciendo esquina frente a la playa,muy cerca, que tiene de todo.
Los baños son correctos,limpios aunque viejitos. Lo recomiendo para pocos dias.

The worst check in experience I have had in Spain, I was grateful that the receptionist spoke English as my Spanish is poor (although I am learning). But she was miserable, curt, didn't offer any information (I had to ask). They only had one pitch left, i think she was trying to put me off saying it was the smallest pitch, but as we had a VW California Ocean it was perfect. When I came to pay I got my phone out but before I got it ready with the card I wanted to use she thrust the card reader at me in front of my phone and it took the money from the wrong card ( a card that would charge me). I asked her to cancel and she was quite forceful saying she couldn't. I wasn't letting it go and after some back and forth she finally cancelled it and it took no time at all, but she wasn't happy and it showed.

I asked about WiFi as they were advertising modems. She told me there was WiFi on our pitch and we didn't need a modem. When we got to the pitch we couldn't even find a signal on our phones. Eventually my husband went back and dealt with the same women and he said she was awful and didn't want to give him the modem but he argued that he couldn't get a signal and eventually she gave him one, and we got really good signal throughout our stay.

So about the site, it's not pretty, it's in a big town, but it's actually ok and it grew on us. There is a mix of sized pitches some pitches are really big and then ours very small (which was perfect for us). There are small hedges between each pitch and on each pitch electric and water. There were 2 toilet facilities on the side we were on, and they have separate men and women. It wasnt a very big facility and I would say very dated with frosted glass separating toilets and showers. There were a few basins as you walked in and then toilets one side and showers the other. There was toilet paper and soap and paper to dry your hands. Showers had a mixer tap so you could adjust the temperature and the pressure was amazing. There was a small ledge but it was slotted so it was difficult to put things on it, one hook which was too large to hang anything on and a towel hook. The shower was small and in the first shower I went in the water didn't run away. But the facilities were kept clean.

There are sinks and laundry sinks close to the facilities with food hot water and in one of the facilities an automatic toilet cleaner, defib and a dog shower.

There is a restaurant, swimming pool and supermarket on site. There is a great area to walk your dog for a small morning and night around the campsite in the nature reserve. But also the campsite is situated next to an enclosed dog park too.

There were cycle paths running by the campsite and paths through the nature reserve.

We do a lot of walking and so we got up into the national park behind the campsite and it was gorgeous with the most amazing views across the town and the Mediterranean.

The campsite was close to the town which was nice which meant the beach was accessible, as was the castle and old town and lots of restaurants and bars.

I scored this a 3/5, it lost 1 point because I think the facilities definitely need an upgrade and the 2nd point because of the rude reception we received, there is no need for people to be so rude when you are checking in.

Leider waren wir dieses Mal ziemlich enttäuscht.

Schon die Buchung war schwierig: Wir haben auf drei verschiedenen Geräten versucht zu reservieren – ohne Erfolg. Telefonisch reservieren war ebenfalls nicht möglich. Zusätzlich finden wir die extra 10 € Reservierungsgebühr pro Stellplatz recht happig, aber die Kröte hätten wir geschluckt.

Der Empfang vor Ort wirkte auf uns leider eher unfreundlich. Positiv war immerhin, dass wir tatsächlich die letzten beiden freien Plätze bekommen haben – wenn auch nur gerade so. Mit etwas mehr Entgegenkommen am Telefon hätte sich diese Unsicherheit vermutlich vermeiden lassen.

Der Campingplatz selbst ist sehr eng angelegt. Besonders die Zufahrten zu den Parzellen sind teilweise extrem schmal. Mit größeren Wohnmobilen wird das Rangieren schnell zur Herausforderung, hier ist Vorsicht angesagt. Auch die größeren Stellplätze sind nur über recht enge Wege erreichbar.

Ein klarer Pluspunkt sind die Sanitäranlagen: Duschen und Toiletten waren sauber. Die Duschen haben einen kräftigen Wasserstrahl, und dass der Duschkopf abnehmbar ist, fanden wir sehr praktisch. Außerdem ist die Anlage durch Tor und Schranke gesichert. Direkt außerhalb gibt es zudem einen Waschraum.

Was unseren Aufenthalt allerdings massiv beeinträchtigt hat, war die Lautstärke am Wochenende. Auf der anderen Seite des Campingplatzes liegt ein Restaurant, in dem an beiden Tagen offenbar größere Feiern stattfanden – inklusive Feuerwerk und vor allem Chinaböllern. Gerade für Hundebesitzer ist das problematisch, da viele Hunde auf dem Platz dadurch extrem gestresst wurden. Wir achten zu Hause bewusst darauf, unserem Hund Silvesterstress zu ersparen – hier war es leider noch deutlich schlimmer.

Wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass Gäste über solche Veranstaltungen vorab informiert werden. Dann kann man selbst entscheiden, ob man an diesem Wochenende anreisen möchte oder lieber nicht.
Auf nachfrage wurde uns nur lapidar gesagt das es Tradition ist
Wir waren bereits vier mal hier, aber dieses Mal war der Bogen für uns leider überspannt. Nach drei Nächten sind wir enttäuscht abgereist und werden den Platz künftig nicht mehr besuchen. Schade – gerade weil wir bisher gerne hier waren. In der Umgebung gibt es jedoch genügend ruhigere Alternativen.

Fuimos a una comunión y la experiencia iba de 10: la comida riquísima y los empleados encantadores. Pero el gran fallo estuvo en la gestión del sonido. En una sala compartida para varias comuniones, es inadmisible que la música de un grupo esté a un volumen tan exagerado. No pretendemos que no pongan música, pero sí que controlen los decibelios por respeto a los demás. Por culpa de una sola fiesta, el resto no podíamos ni mantener una conversación ni disfrutar del momento. Básicamente nos sentimos expulsados del lugar, y eso es algo que el restaurante no debería permitir.Gracias

Wir waren das zweite Mal hier und das letzte Mal. Das einzige ist die Nähe zum Strand und die Sicht auf die Burg. Mercadona 7 min mit dem Rad. Für Hunde gute Möglichkeiten zum spazieren gehen. Sehr sehr sehr enge Parzelle Man muss gut rangieren können. Waschmaschinen außerhalb des Platzes nutzbar (4Euro). Wifi und TV Box leihbar. 20 Euro bei Abgabe bekommt man das Geld zurück. Kaltes Wasser in der Parzelle. Duschen eng etwas älter aber mit Druck. Ausreichende duschen und Toiletten vorhanden. Brötchenservice. Gegenüber ist ein Restaurant wo gerne gefeiert wird. Leider wurde hier heftig geböllert. Es ist ganzjährig erlaubt man sagte uns Tradition. Viele Hunde, auf dem Platz haben reagiert. Wir haben leider einen Angsthund. Deshalb waren wir das letzte Mal hier. Der Platz ist nur voll wegen der Nähe zum Strand und zur Burg. Für uns reicht es aber. Wegen der Zufahrtswege der Parzelle und der Böllerei von gegenüber was dir passieren kann.

Intended 1 week, stayed for 4, lovely campsite. Very clean facilities, helpful friendly staff, activities available for free if wanted (petanque, archery, aerobics, aquagym, cocktails). Standard plots generous, own sink, hedges, pollarded trees (can cause some issues for positioning taller motorhomes but all fine with care). Pool with sunbeds (open when we were there all April but unheated). North side is quiet (so is south side this time of year). 5 min walk to fantastic long clean sandy beach. 25 min walk along promenade to castle and town and big supermarkets. We were very comfortable and will be back!
