Buen intento por parte del ayuntamiento para crear un área de autocaravanas. En el área de cambios buena plataforma para las grises, hay tres grifos, solo funciona el que tiene la manguera conectada,¿? Las negras tienes que levantar la tapa del sifón de la pileta y embocar el tubo del poty en el desagüe. Menos mal que hay buen caudal de agua para limpiar todo.

Esta muy bien el area. No le doy 5 estrellas porque le falta iluminación. No se ve nada cuando anochece, es una pena, porque se podría rentabilizar más. Es muy triste estar a oscuras

Very peacful stop. 5 terraced pitches on small stones surface, 4 of which are almost level but need wedges to be perfect. Bin in the street, composting bins on site. 3 Screw cap taps regular size to fit hosepipe, drive over drain, the lid can be lifted under the taps for toilet emptying. Easily accessible for large motorhomes. Town pleasant and locals friendly. There is a childrens play area in the village that offers shade and plenty of seating. Recommend.

Quiet and pleasant rural village. Bakery within the castle. Nice place to stop overnight, need wedges on some areas. Difficult to find the black waste emptying. When we arrived, youths had blocked main roads into village with commercial bins so we took an alternative route in, which wasn't really suitable for larger MHs. Upon leaving, we took the main route through the village and were confronted with the bins again and two youths who wanted us to give money, saying it was for the village. We gave them a small donation, hoping that it was indeed for the benefit of the village not for their beer money! They obliged by moving the bins to let us pass. We didn't feel intimidated, but felt obliged to give some money but it wasn't something we expected, having already contributed by purchasing goods during our stay.

Carcelén is just a small town in Spain with around 600 people. Beautiful views and very welcoming.

You need to go to the castle located in the middle of the town. You can't miss it 😄 Just in the corner, you can see the "panaderia a leña" (bread made in traditional bread ovens) that opens at 6h30 in the morning, so go early to guarantee yours. It's delicious.

Carniceria (butcher) local store with artisan chorizo (pork sausage).

Bar Restaurante El Bigote, with a great Turia beer for only 2€.

The motorhome/caravan area is in a converted olive tree orchard. It's very quiet with beautiful starry night skies. We found the parking areas were relatively flat (we've had a lot worse).

Also has lovely walks into the Spanish countryside.

It's definitely a place we'll probably come back to.

Der Platz liegt am Rand des Dorfes, von hier aus kann man einige ausgeschilderte Wanderungen unternehmen.
Die Stellplätze sind sehr schräg, Keile sind zu empfehlen.
Wir hatten 2 ruhige Nächte.
Vielen Dank an die Gemeinde.
