Lugar limpo e organizado, carga e descarga de águas funcionando perfeitamente, tem a estação de trem a 50 metros que pode te levar a Santander por € 6,20 ida e volta já incluso a compra do cartão que sai por 1€, +ou- 45minutos, tem supermercado Dia a 200 metros, passei na ASA de Santander para conhecer, tinha Autocaravana para todo os lados, nenhuma vaga, quem quiser conhecer Santander a dica é deixe sua autocaravana aqui em Puente San Miguel. Obrigado a comunidade por disponibilizar esta área gratuita.

This aire is a great find for us as it close to the Santander ferry and has some hikes although they were country road hiking.
It's located in the town between the train track and river.

The dedicated motorhome parking is facing the river with a bit of confusion with the bay markings. The thicker lines are the ones to park between as the other lines were for cars. The parking is dipped and we did have to use our chocks for our one shower drain.

There is no shade(great for solar) and that is why some park on the grass close to the one tree.
It got busy on Saturday night with motorhomes in the carpark.

Pros:
Free parking.
Free full services excluding ehu.
Local bakery, restaurants, cafes and bars.
Hiking and walking area.
Mountain biking trails.
Great 5g signal.

Cons:
No shade.
Train noise.

The services are more or less clean.
We did observe a guy clean his porta potti on the fresh water side tap.

The grey drain on a slight dip has great flow direction into the grate.

The black WC drain is 600mm of the ground under a heavy steel cover opposite the freshwater tap. The cassette cleaning 3/4 turn tap is above the drain.

The freshwater 3/4 turn tap with a medium screw-on connection has excellent pressure.

There is a large green bin in the carpark Aire.

We completed two hikes. Both were mainly on tarmac country roads.
Locals walk their dogs along the river dirt track which is lovely.
The green area has plenty of dog dirt.

We had a meal in cafe 1900 which was lovely. It's not a town which cater for menu del dias. There was one but it was €17 without drinks.
The closest supermarket is Lupa across the bridge. We did walk to Mercadona which is a 4.4km round trip.
The bakery is across the bridge with lovely bread and cakes.

The trains run regularly during the day. They stop about 12 and starts about 7am. They didn't bother us at all and we slept well.
There is an area for dogs beside the aire with seating where young adults gather. They were noisy but no trouble.

Bugs/Mosquitoes. (They love us..)
There were no mosquitoes or biters here at the end of March even though it was over 20 degrees.
