Wunderbarer Platz, sehr schön angelegt. Ver- und Entsorgung funktioniert wunderbar. Die Kinder haben sich sehr über die kleinen Vögel gefreut, die am Rand des Parkplatzes nisten und morgens ein tolles Spektakel veranstaltet haben.

This Aire is another great find and probably our favourite for us on our travels south with plenty of great tough hiking routes.
It's located at the top of the village, so a road that is narrow at places will need to be navigated. After the roundabout coming into the village take the first right (AL5403) and follow the road around the village and the Aire is on your left on a steep hill after 700 meters.

There are 7 dedicated parking spaces against the very high wall.
The large wall blocks the sun. The sun starts to shine on the first parking space at 12.30 and finishes at 4.30 at the end of November. We stood there for three sunny days with no problems.
We spent three very quiet nights here with a different van each night.

Pros:
Free parking.
Full free services excluding ehu.
Local shop, restaurant, bakery and bars.
Kids play area.
Paddle court.
Outdoor soccer.
Hiking trails.
Mountain bike trails.

Cons:
Sun coverage.

There are full free services excluding ehu.

The grey drain has ok flow direction into the grate.

The black WC drain is on ground level under a small round steel cover with a handle.
There is a 3/4 turn threaded tap above this drain and another tap to the left.

Both taps are freshwater taps but the only threaded one is above the grey outdoor sink. It has a screw-on connection and a 3/4 turn handle to increase/reduce the excellent water pressure.
The other tap is a press button with no hose connector.

There is a large bin including recycling up the road.

There is a small shop for essentials. A bakery for all bread needs. A chemist in the centre square including a bank and Tabac shop.
We had a lovely menu del dia in restaurant/bar Fuente Parrilla.

We completed 2 hikes in the mountains here. One was a 12km loop following the yellow and white markers. The other was a 13km loop, loosely following the red and white markers.

Bugs/Mosquitoes. (They love us..)
There were no mosquitoes or biters here at the end of November. Just some flies.
