Loved this site stayed 2 days would have stayed longer but was booked into another site which we had paid, jill was nice friendly lady who owned the camp 🏕 site and all the other people who were on site were really nice and friendly,the German woman who was next to our motorhome was exceptionally nice will definitely be back next year Jill.

Wir sind sehr froh dass wir auf unserem Roadtrip hier gelandet sind! Die anderen Plätze waren zwar in Strandnähe, aber eben auf Betonflächen oder fast neben der Autobahn. Doch hier hatten wir ein erholsames Plätzchen in der Nähe des Naturschutzgebiets.
Für kleines Geld gibt es absolut saubere WCs, Duschen und sogar einen Pool. Die Gastgeberin ist absolut flexibel und herzlich bei der Ankunft.

Estuvimos super bien tratados, el lugar es super recomendable y muy económico. Todo el mundo muy amable y atento además, nos dejaron un alargador de electricidad porque nosotros olvidamos el nuestro. Además la parcela tiene dentro una gran pérgola que te da sombra y te permite reducir la incidencia solar en tu tienda de campaña si decides ir de acampada, también tiene espacio muy grande para instalar caravanas. La piscina es de 160m2 y es de agua salada y está super limpia siempre. Repetiremos segurísimo, muchísimas gracias a los dueños, un fuerte abrazo.

Sur la route de nos vacances nous avons passé une nuit excellente. L'accueil au top. très bon rapport qualité et prix. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir faire une pause ici pour se rafraîchir dans la piscine et observer les chèvres acrobates. le lieu est calme et très bien entretenu. je vous recommande a 200% !

What an excellent little campsite.
This was the first time we had camped for at least 8 years.
We wanted somewhere not too big and was relaxing, and at Sheppards Rest, we found exactly that. The owner, Jill, was welcoming and very helpful.
The site was clean and tidy, as where the showers and washing up facilities.
The water in the pool was sparkling and clear.
We will definitely be going back.

Small family run campsite that is super friendly!
Toilets, showers, laundry, free to use bbq area, small games room and a simply brilliant pool area with sunbeds and shaded areas.
All pitches spacious & fenced in making it perfect for those travelling with pets.
Quiet rural location yet only a ten min bike ride to the Spanish town of Dolores and 15 mins to the multicultural town of Catral.
Ridiculously cheap, it's always very busy in the winter months but an amazing base in the summer months when it's usually quieter.

Es ist ein wunderschöner Campingplatz. Klein, aber sehr fein. Das Pool ist einladend, der Stellplatz hat einen Zaun, sodass der Hund frei am Stellplatz sein kann.

Un camping muy recomendable, sin duda volveremos.

Si buscas un camping tranquilo y familiar, es el camping perfecto.
Las parcelas son muy grandes, bien equipadas, y casi todas valladas, los baños y las duchas están muy limpios siempre, tiene piscina también muy limpia, con varias tumbonas y un par de mesas por si quieres pasar un rato allí, también hay una pequeña granja de animales, de los cuales se venden por las mañanas 6 huevos por 1€.

Además, la británica dueña, Jill, es un encanto y muy implicada en el bienestar de los campistas, te proporciona lo que necesites para que tu estancia sea más cómoda, como sombrillas, sillas, mesa, etc…

Hay una pequeña sala en la que puedes encontrar juegos, agua y hielo gratis para los campistas y lavadora por 3€.

En cuanto a precio, está muy bien y los perros son gratis y además al ser las parcelas valladas pueden estar sueltos en la parcela, lo que se agradece.
La electricidad va a parte en el precio, pero es un precio asequible.

La piscina estaba casi siempre vacía, lo que es normal ya que el camping cuenta únicamente con 7 parcelas.
Y el camping está lleno de pequeñas luces de colores que hacen que por la noche quede muy bonito iluminado.

En resumen, un camping ideal, muy tranquilo, muy limpio y con una dueña estupenda.
100% recomendable!!

Wir können nur eins sagen.. Danke für die tollen fast 2 Monate. ❤️❤️ Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt. Auch unsere 2 Hunde. Sehr nette und tolle Mitcamper. Jill ist immer unterwegs auf dem Platz um alles sauber zu machen.Wir sind sehr herzlich empfangen worden von Jill. HILFSBEREITSCHAFT wird hier gross geschrieben. Der Motor vom Auto war noch nicht aus und schon kamen 4 Mitcamper und Jill um zu helfen den Wohnwagen richtig zu platzieren. Die Parzellen sind wirklich gross und absolut Hundefreundlich.🥰🥰
Der Poolbereich ist sauber und läd zum schwimmen ein.
Jeder Platz hat Wasser Abwasseranschluss und Strom .
Uns hat es so gut gefallen, das wir im Oktober wiederkommen. Wir können es kaum erwarten. Nochmal Danke für die tolle Zeit und ein WUFF WUFF von Wölli. See you in October

Wir waren mehrere Wochen mit unseren 2 Hunden hier. Der Campingplatz hat eine super schöne familiäre Atmosphäre. Jill sorgt dafür, dass immer alles sauber ist, der Pool, die Duschen, die Sitzgelegenheiten am Pool, etc. Man hat eigene Abteile, die man für die Hunde zumachen kann, sodass sie sich frei bewegen können. Unseren 2 grossen Schäferhunden hat es gefallen. Waschmaschinen und englische Bücher sind vorhanden und der Preis ist auch günstig. Wir können diesen Campingplatz nur empfehlen und wären gerne noch mal gekommen.

Genial, hemos estado unos días en agosto y no queríamos venirnos, dueños ingleses, trato excepcional y con mis hijos increíble lo bien que se han portado, Dani es el hijo que habla español y pendientes en todo momento de que estuviéramos agusto, disculpas porque mi pequeña de 2 años lloro un poco una noche, volveremos sin duda, lugar encantador!!!
