Extremely difficult access, only suitable for small light campers (<6m) with quite a traction and appropriate power/weight ratio. There's a ramp of about 20—22% whose exit when returning from the area (if you oddly got to reach it) calls for a tricky sharp turn with a high probability of hitting the ground (unless the ground clearance of your van is well above the average).

Contacting the Council is mandatory since the area is fenced (it lies inside the municipal swimming pool compound). You'll be probably given the phone number of the court janitor. Allegedly, the area is open from March to late October.

By no means drive down beyond the gravel parking lot which is at the highest point you reach when coming up from the main road, after which you have to turn left and start descending. Just park there and walk down (then eventually well up again!) up to the area, and judge by yourself if you can drive up there (and get out back later!) with your vehicle without burning your clutch or whatever. I drove too far following the indications of the janitor, and it took me quite a while turning around my GV (6 m). It was getting dark and I couldn't even take some picture of the place.

The area itself is fabulous, with a gorgeous view over the village, its houses perching on a cliff over a ravine. There are electricity plugs but at the time we visited the area the greywater discharge platform was cluttered, the blackwater disposal was unusable, and clean water wasn't ensured. The area was inaugurated in 2013 but apparently has been seldom used, likely because very few (small, light and powerful) vehicles can actually get to it.
