Is what is says on the tin - wild camping. Basic pitches in the middle of the spanish countryside - perfect place to disconnect. Hosts were really lovely and hospitable, asked for a donation at the end of the trip. Thanks for a great stay!

They saved our whole weekend!

We had another campsite that was unexpectedly closed. So we found Hessey’s on Google maps and decided to head over. John came out to meet us and made us feel very welcome and told us about the area and recommended a really cool waterfall hike nearby! (Los Chorradores)

Lovely campsite, lovely views, all around wonderful experience.

We had an amazing stay at the campsite. We only stayed for one night and were the only ones there. We wished we could have stayed longer because the environment was so calm and giving. Perfect place if you want to disconnect.

Un sitio genial que descubrimos en el camino, fuimos un grupo de 5 amigos y Leni y Jon fueron muy amables y atentos en todo momento, la verdad es que nos sentimos muy acogidos, y todo de manera altruista, puedo decir con seguridad que son buenas personas que dedican todo a su entorno y al pueblo, el lugar es espectacular y está muy cerca de varios ríos y del pueblo, por lo que tiene una ubicación perfecta. Sin duda repetiremos. ¡Gracias familia!

We had an amazing stay in a beautiful environment! Jon and Leni gave us a very warm welcome and were extremely helpful and kind. The site for sleeping is very minimal but perfect for us. Surrounded by trees and a lot of birds (and even some boars at night) this was exactly the place we were looking for. Keep in mind that there is no running water, toilet or electricy. It's a unique experience and perfect to stay for cyclists and hikers, who really love nature. This was one of our favourite national parks of the entirety of Spain, so we understand why Jon and Leni picked this green heaven. We made our campsite very cozy and had some amazing adventures in the surrounding area. It was an unforgettable experience and we will definitely come back!

We stayed 3 nights at this amazing spot. It was very quiet, in between the trees and nature. Like the other reviews say, it's very minimalistic, but if you love wildcamping, you have to stop by! Not only because of the beautiful nature surrounding the area, but also because Jon and Leni are beautiful people, who we reconsider friends now. Thankyou guys for your hospitality and this great experience.

Amazingly quiet place with low light noise for midnight stargazing and fresh air. The pitches are around 5 m2 and can fit a 4-person Decathlon tent, you can also utilize some space around the pitch.

Jon & Leni are super friendly and helpful, always available via WhatsApp.

Note that this is a completely wild camping site, no water or toilets.

Just spent 2 nights tent camping at Hessy’s. The name says it all - no frills, tent camping in the woods. It was just us, but the pitches are laid out so that there’s privacy between each area. The location is great, less than 1h from Valencia and we got to hike around Bolbaite and Chella and swim in the natural pool/waterfalls. Will have to return once they have their glamping site up and running just up the road from the campsite.

It is a good camping spot close to many beautiful landmarks and national parks. The hosts are wonderful and make you feel at home. We will return again! Just be sure to call them first to book a spot.

Jon and Leni were very friendly and helpful. The standard tent pitches are simple spaces in the forest. No bells and whistles, but very quiet, which was nice. Good to be aware that there are no bathrooms, electrical outlets, or anything like that. The glamping that they are currently setting up down the road looks really nice and should be a beautiful space once they finish and open it up to rent.
