Ich war diesen September 3 Wochen Teil der Camino Familie in Galicien. Man fühlt sich dort einfach rund um wohl und kann ohne Probleme, so wie ich, 3 Wochen dort verbringen. Der Standort zum Surfen ist traumhaft und Camino hat eine extrem hohe Qualität wenn es um die Surf Lessons geht mit viel Videoanalysen. Wenn man einen ruhigen, wunderschönen und heimischen Ort sucht, mit viel Fokus aus Surf Progession, gutes Essen und chillige Vibes, kann ich Camino nur ans Herz legen. Probiere sicherlich auch noch Marokko aus:)

We have been coming to Caminosurf for many years now and always enjoy our stays very much. I can very much recommend this camp to anyone who is looking for a good surf and friendly surfcamp. The quality of surf, equipment, friendly staff , great food and great atmosphere is exceptionally good. The surfteachers are the best. Our surf instructor Luca was very skilled, helpful and friendly and always very dedicated to getting us the best surf sessions. Also Thomas, the intermediate group surfinstructor of our friends, was exceptionally helpful, focused and friendly. Apart from the excellent surf we always enjoy the incredible tasty food and friendly atmosphere and to meet longtime staff members that have become friends over the years. Ich war die erste Woche Juli im Camino Surfcamp und alles hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Surflehrer waren immer sehr hilfsbereit und sie kannten alle Strände Valdoviños und auch die andere, die in der Nähe waren, sehr gut.
Wir sind jeden Tag ca. drei Stunden im Wasser gesurft und das hat sehr gutgetan. Ich fand auch toll, dass wir immer alle zusammen gefahren sind. Nach dem Surfen haben wir diese gemeinsam analysiert und kommentiert. Wir haben auch viele Videos und Fotos von unseren Surfsessions bekommen, vielen Dank dafür! So kann man immer weiter lernen.

Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich und war immer für uns da. Das Surfhaus war sehr sauber und schön. Es war sehr ruhig und angenehm. ¡Gracias amigos y hasta pronto!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Camino Surfcamp this summer! I stayed for 10 days in a shared flat with my own kitchen, so I didn't book the food package.

The communication beforehand was great, with very quick, friendly and accommodating answers, the staff at the camp was super friendly and helpful, and I met funny new people!:)

But really the best, and, what I would say outstanding characteristic of this surfcamp were the surf lessons: The teachers did an excellent job giving precise, constant and really helpful feedback in and outside the water and making sure everyone was feeling safe and motivated.
I had booked the intermediate classes and classes were in fact divided into different groups (beginner/intermediate/advanced), according to everyone's level. What it is more, we were getting filmed nearly each lesson and would analyze all the shots with again very helpful and precise feedback for everyone. In comparison with other surfcamps I had been to in France, Cantabria and Galicia, I progressed so much in this time and knew exactly what and how to work on!
Besides, we would go for surf-skate lessons sometimes, or have theory lessons, and I learned a lot of interesting new things I think I should have learned before in other surfcamps when I was still a beginner;-P
We also drove to different beaches according to the weather conditions. The teachers really cared about getting the most of our stay there. Thank you everyone at Camino's for your excellent work!!! :-)

Für's erste Mal in Galizien hatte ich aufgrund vorheriger Aufenthalte im Camino Surfcamp in Marokko hohe Erwartungen und diese wurden auch hier voll bestätigt.

It was my second time in a Camino Surfcamp. First time I was in Morocco where I had a very good experience and the same I just can say about this one in Galicia. Peter and Elke the owners, who also live there, build a really beautiful place. It got family vibes and I felt very welcome from day one. This time I was free surfing but the courses are the same as in Morocco. You work in small groups and get video analyses what in my opinion helps a lot. I went out surfing with other free surfers I met there and sometimes also with the staff, just on the local spot. In the evening you sit together and have really nice fresh made food. I had a really great time thanks to the whole team and definitely not my last time in a Camino Surfcamp.😁🤙🏼

Absolute Empfehlung! Ich komme seit Jahren immer wieder in das Camp in Galizien und kann nur Gutes sagen: Hammer Leute, Top Lage, Süperbe Spots, Großartige Surfcoaches (Shoutout to Yaron :-)), 1A Unterkünfte, korrektes Material, sehr, sehr gute Verpflegung und ganz viel gute Laune.

Wir hatten 2 Wochen Surfkurs im Camino Surfcamp gebucht und im Bungalow auf dem Campingplatz gewohnt. Der Bungalow war ok zum Schlafen, hatte aber wenig Aufenthaltsqualität.
Das Camp selbst war super! Sehr gut organisiert, familienfreundlich, mega freundliche Teamer und Surflehrer, Peter und Elke sowieso;-), tolles, abwechslungsreiches, gesundes Essen ( herzlichen Dank an Joaquin).
Gut strukturierte Kurse und Equipment.
Auch abeseits des Surfens genügend Aktivitäten/Angebote (zahlreiche Spiele und Bücher, TT, Kicker, Mountainbikes und Skateboards, Yoga, Massagen)
Auf dem Campingplatz gibt es sogar einen Pool zur Erfrischung zwischendurch.
Abends gilt ab 23Uhr im Camp und auf dem Platz Nachtruhe, an die sich tatsächlich gehalten wird. Keine lauten Partys!!
Einziges Manko: die Tischtennisplatte könnte mal erneuert werden und die Loungemöbel sind nicht die bequemsten.
Aber alles in allem super und sehr zu empfehlen (auch als nicht-surfende Begleitperson)!

I stayed 10 days in the shared apartments, with surf classes and food package. I had an absolutely amazing experience: A lot of fun with the other visitors, friendly caring staff, beautiful surf spots, great food, and surf progress because they take it very seriously with dedicated coaching during the classes and frequent video analysis. We even had a surfskate lesson. Thanks to everyone in the camp and special thanks to Janis and Luca for helping me improve my skills!

Spontan vorbeigekommen und begeistert!

Ich bin spontan beim Camp vorbeigekommen und konnte direkt an einem Surfkurs teilnehmen. Das Haus ist top, mit einem super Aufenthalts- und Chilloutbereich. Die Coaches und Teilnehmer waren klasse – eine echt coole Atmosphäre! Besonders großes Lob an Janis, danke für die genialen Surfstunden. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Diesen Urlaub und Service kann ich jedem empfehlen, der interessiert am Surfen und Natur ist. Für mich war es die erste Erfahrung im Bereich Surfen und mein Surflehrer Janis gab mir einen perfekten Einstieg in diese Sportart! Jeder Surflehrer und jedes Teammitglied ist sehr nett, zuvorkommend und immer bereit einen zu helfen.

I stayed one week at Camino Surfcamp Galicia in Valdoviño. Package I chose included 5 surf lessons (beginner/intermediate level), glamping accommodation (shared tent), vegetarian culinario-menù (all meals for a week). Overall, the experience was great. Simple and functional surfcamp (chill spots, guitars, table tennis, table football, hammooks, beer and juices at disposal for a reasonable price, market/pizzeria within the camp), competent surf instructors, nice and friendly camp crew, polite-friendly-interesting guests. Surf equipment (board, wetsuite, surf skate) was good quality. Visited surf spots were 2: Valdoviño beach (both est and west sides) and Villarube beach. Besides the surfcamp atmosphere, I appreciated the surf lessons (which included theory part and the review of short footages of us surfing) and the culinario-menù (cheap and healthy). Valdoviño is a small village (with everything reachable 15 min walk) and does not offer much activities or nightlife - there are a couple of cocktail bar where you can also dance. Connections to close cities (Ferrol, mainly) is effectively possible by bus (Monbus) but if you plan to visit other places around I would strongly recommend to rent a car (in Ferrol or A Coruña). Most likely I will also try Camino Surfcamp in Sidi Ifni (Morocco). Greetings to the camp crew and Peter/Helke!

Thank you to Peter and the whole Camino team!
We really enjoyed our stay at the camino camp. Our kids 16/14 years old easily connected to other teenagers their age facilitated by the family friendly set up. The food was freshly made and delicious, I loved the fact that you received boxes at breakfast to prepare your own lunch for later.
The surfing and Oisin, our main instructor was clear and systematic when teaching. Great to get some theory in and also to learn about surf etiquet. Thanks to Anas and also Filipe to help us practically!
Another gem is Elke and her Yoga class, which my daughter of 16 years enjoyed as much as me.
Hopefully we will make it back again !

As a family of 4 with 2 children aged 14 & 16 we did a 5 day beginner course. The camp is super well organised and clean, the food package was great value and delicious. Our instructors Oisin and Anas were fantastic, explained everything really well and made the whole course fun. The instruction is thorough with practical and theory elements as well as safety aspects which were very useful. The camp is very welcoming and we met some great people. Many thanks to the Camino team, we'll be back for sure

I spent a perfect week at the Camino surfing (I was in Filippo‘s groups where I lernt a lot, both while surfing in the water but also in theory lessons in the afternoon!), eating (Joaquin is a master chef), sleeping (I stayed in a glamping tent - which was perfect for me travelling alone). If you go there, you‘ll encounter a group of super friendly, well trained surf teachers and teamers! I hope I can visit the camp again

Camino Surf in Galicia is an excellent choice for everyone - whether you're traveling solo, with a group, or with family. The entire team is highly professional, friendly, always helpful, and clearly enjoys their work. The surf camp has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Valdoviño is relaxed, and the surf spots, beaches, and sunsets are incredible.
The surf instructors are experienced, motivating, and tailor their teaching to the individual skills of each participant. You spend a lot of time in the water, which is great as it gives you plenty of opportunities to improve your skills.
The teamers were also great, always dedicated and supportive throughout the stay.
Finally, thumbs up for my instructor Filippo - thanks for two great weeks. Grazie mille!

I‘ve been there for two weeks and I had such a good time. This camp is perfect if you want to enjoy the waves and progress your surfing.
The surf teachers are making sure that you can go surfing at the perfect day time and in the perfect spot. Furthermore you spend a lot of time in the water - that‘s so nice for progressing.
The camp in general has a really nice familiar vibe. So many good people!!

Wunderschönes Surfcamp in mitten einer atemberaubenden Landschaft.
Wir nahmen als größere Gruppe an den Surfkursen Teil (Beginner und Intermediat).
Die Surflehrer sind sehr sehr gut ausgebildet und geben extrem hilfreiche Tipps.
Vor allem Yaron und Luca haben unsere Kurse zu einem echten Highlight des Urlaubs gemacht.
Die zur Verfügung gestellte Ausrüstung ist gut und auch der Weg zum Strand (Homebeach) ist kurzweilig. Alternativ wird man auch mit der ganzen Gruppe zu nahegelegenen Stränden zum Surfen gefahren.
Extrem beruhigende und entschleunigende Stimmung. Perfekt für einen entspannten Urlaub.
Im Camp gibt es alles was man begehrt.
Preislich ist das Surfcamp der Hit! Selten so viel gute Leistung bekommen!!!!
Alles in allem eine ganz klare Empfehlung.
