Reading the reviews this campsite sounded idyllic. I tried calling but got no reply, we decided to try driving there anyway. Beautiful drive but we were nervous about the road, then on reaching the site we really didn’t fancy driving up the steep gravel slope, so I walked up to the entrance to find a closed gate. I could have tried ringing again but the site looked very sloping and the access put us off. So we went elsewhere.

Wow, what a find! This place is perfect for a tranquil getaway. The setting is stunning and just 4 kms outside the town of Bullas. Juan was very helpful when we arrived without a reservation and the cost was just 15€ per night including the electric. Toilets and showers were clean, there are laundry facilities even and honesty box for bottles of wine. We will definitely be back.
